As Event Director – How to Manually Create a Match from the Chart View

This article will demonstrate how to create a one-off match within your Event.  

 

NOTE*** This is NOT how you should build you event matches. This is used for one-off situations. Please see this article for Generating Matches in Bulk

Instructions:

Step 1:

  • From your Organization Dashboard, click Scheduling > Events or onto the Events module


Step 2:

  • Select the event you want to create a match within


Step 3:

  • Click "Primary Schedule"


Step 4:

  • Ensure that you're looking at the "Match Chart" and not "Match List
  • Double click on the timeslot and field you'd like to add a match onto. This will pop up a new window with the Start Time and Field already assigned. 
  • From there, all you need to do is fill out the remaining information and click Save.
  • Once complete, the match will show exactly where you double clicked
