As an Event Director/Admin - Event Access and Options Navigation

This article will provide an in-depth look into the access and options tab within an event

Instructions

From the Dashboard select Scheduling -> Events -> select the event you are working on -> Click the Access & Options sub-tab

Note: Clicking Advanced Settings under any tab will provide more in-depth options for the specific tab

General

Pin: This pin allows for a two-step verification when allowing online scoring entry. This will appear on all match cards.

Allow Match Minute Entry: Having this box checked will allow for Scoring entry, Yellow card, Red card, Injury, and match minutes entry.

Starting Match Number: Allows the Event Director to input a custom match number. The following matches will be in consecutive order. Leave blank to start at 1.

Game Card Instructions: This customizable field will allow for instructions to be added to the game card for each game. These instructions will print in the bottom right of the game card.

Days Before Match is Locked: Number of days when a match will be locked from editing

Allow Match Host:

Disable Scoring Deadline: This will completely disable the scoring deadline

Scoring Deadline Hours: The amount of hours after a match, when users can enter scoring details. Default of 72 hours (3 Days)

Enable Automated Scoring Reminder Email: This check box allows for an automated email to be sent if a game is not scored

Automated Scoring Reminder - Days: Amount of days after a game until a scoring reminder is sent if the box is turned on

Match Card Type: Allows the choice of Standard Match card, Photo Match Card, or Both to be printed

Enable pool-to-pool placeholders: This allows for placeholders to be created for pool-to-pool playoff brackets

Club/Team Self Scheduling

Allow associated Clubs to schedule their home games: This will allow Club Admins to schedule games for their teams in the event on their fields within the system

Allow team self-scheduling: This will allow Coaches and Managers to schedule home games  for their team on their clubs fields within the system

Allow self-scheduling to change day: This allows Club Admins, Coaches, and Managers to change the date of a game.

Allow associated Teams/Clubs to schedule their games on your fields: allows the clubs or teams to schedule games on the fields owned by the league

Allow the host to update match: This will allow for Host Clubs to edit the match

Associated Club Roster Permissions

Note: Included in this section are only the most commonly utilized tools from this module

Build and modify event roster: The setting allows for teams to build their roster for the event. If this is not turned on, teams cannot build a roster for the event.

Allow Rosters for all affiliations: This allows for all players to show in the roster builder regardless of governing organization affiliation

Automatically approve complaint roster changes: This allows for all player roster changes to be automatically approved. With this setting turned off, any roster changes would need to be approved by the Event Director/Admin Automatically approve complaint roster changes

Automatically approve staff-compliant roster changes: This allows for all Coach/Manager roster changes to be automatically approved. With this setting turned off, any roster changes would need to be approved by the Event Director/Admin

Only include approved roster members in match cards: This will allow for only Coach/Managers and Players with a green check mark (Approved) to show on the match card

Include club name in team name: This allows for the club name to be included in the full team name

Print roster document: This allows users to print the roster document for this event. There is a choice to print with or without photos.

Hide ability for club to remove approved players: With this setting turned on, Clubs and Teams will not be allowed to remove any players from their event rosters

Show match cards for users: This setting allows users to print their team's match cards

Allow Compact Match Cards: This allows for compact match cards to be printed by the event only

Match Card Access Days Before: This box allows for the event to enter days before the match card is able to be accessed for a game

Only include "fulfilled" staff on the roster builder page: This would allow for only coaches, managers, and players to show in the roster builder for this event if they have completed the correct risk management requirements

Allow home staff to upload game sheet: Allows the home team's staff to upload the match card

Allow away staff to upload game sheet: Allows the away team's staff to upload the match card

Allow game sheet upload on public pages: Allows the match card to be uploaded from the public scoring entry page

Include match specific rosters in game sheet: This setting if turned on, will require a match-day roster to be set by the team. These attending players will be the only players that will show on the match card.

Require match day roster selection for each match: This setting will require the teams to build the Match Day roster for each Match. If not, the Match Card will print blank.

Game Day, Club Pass, Guest Maximum Players: This allows for an event number of players with the correct player label to be set

Allow Home Staff Scoring: Allows the home team staff to score the match

Allow Away Staff Scoring: Allows the away team staff to score the match

Allow coaches and managers to change title: This allows coaches/managers to change their title

Roster Source/Clone Options

Allow team selection of roster Source/Clone event: This allows for an event to set what specific events they want teams to source or clone their roster from

Require team selection of roster Source/Clone event: This allows for an event to Require teams to source or clone their rosters from specific events

Suspensions

Require notes for card misconduct: This requires the user to enter details or notes about any yellow or red card misconduct before submitting. 

Auto suspend participants: This allows for suspensions to be automatically applied once entered

Auto update suspensions: This will allow for any active suspension to be updated with the scoring of a match (If a suspension is 1 game,

after the next game is scored this suspension would terminate)

Apply coach and manager suspensions to all teams: This allows for suspensions to apply to all teams where the coach or manager has a role

Apply player suspensions to all teams: This allows for suspensions to apply to all teams where the player has a role

Misconduct Custom Suspension Lengths: This table will allow for suspension lengths to be extended or shortened by choice of the event

Messages

Note: This section is a completely a customizable area for messages within your event.

This is applicable for the following

  • Welcome message
  • Confirmation email Text
  • Accepted Email Text
  • Check in email text
  • Declined Email Text
  • Waitlisted Email Text
  • Withdrawn Email Text 

Team Communication

Team chat enabled: This tool allows teams to communicate with each other through the team chat

Notify Event Tool: This tool allows for direct communication between the event and team through the registration

Schedule Change Requests

Allow match change requests from home team: This allows a team to make a scheduling request when listed as the home team

Allow match change requests from away team: This allows a team to make a scheduling request when listed as the away team

Allow Home / Away Swap Requests: Allow teams to swap home and away within the match

Automate match change requests: This tool automates and changes request information

Team Scheduling Requests

Allow schedule requests (schedule params): This allows for a team to set scheduling params specific to avoid any conflicts with other events or leagues

Allow teams to request days to be excluded from play: This allows for teams to request full scheduling days off 

Max team scheduling requests: This box allows for an event to set the maximum amount of scheduling requests a team is allowed to make

Team Scheduling Setup Applies to Away Games Only: This allows for away games to be self-scheduled in addition to the home games

Referees

Allow Referee to Self Assign: This button is specifically for referee assignors to allow referees to self-assign games

Status Labels

Include 'Guest' status on roster builder: This allows for guest players to be added to an event roster 

Include 'Club Pass' status on roster builder: This allows for guest players to be added to an event roster

Travel
