Submitting a JDP vID Background Check
Step 1:
- Log into your GotSport Account with your existing Email/UserID and Password in your account
- Please ensure that you're using full legal name as it appears on your government issued identification as you will be submitting that for your vID Background Check.
Step 2:
- Under the Organization’s Requirements table with vID Background Check included, click on Details.
Step 3:
- After clicking Details next to Background Check, click "Submit New Report" on the following page and complete the report’s required details. This will include confirming Contact Information and acknowledging all agreements in the Report
Step 4:
After completing the report’s details and clicking Submit, the page will re-direct you directly to vID’s App download page where you complete the report by scanning the QR Code with your phone on the page or continue submitting the report via the Web Browser page.
Note: If you are submitting this Background Check from your mobile phone, you will not need to scan a QR Code and after clicking Submit it will redirect you over to JDP’s vID application where you will complete the vID portion of the Background Check.

Note: If you are having trouble with taking pictures of your identification, you can turn off Auto Capture on vID which will help with capturing the information
