How to Complete the Safe Sport Requirement for Underage Coaches

For coaches under 18 within governing organizations that do not require the full Safe Sport course to be completed by minors, this article will provide a step-by-step process for how they can fulfill the Safe Sport requirement without having to take the course.

Instructions:

Step 1:

  • Log in to your GotSport account and click Dashboard

Step 2:

  • Click Details next to the Safe Sport requirement listed under your governing body

Step 3:

  • Click Show mark as Complete Form which will allow the requirement to be submitted without having to take the course.

Step 4:

  • Click on the Complete Date textbook and select today's date. Then Click Mark as Complete.
  • Your Safe Sport requirement has now been approved and will reflect this on your dashboard.
