GotSport Live: How to Get Started

GotSport Live is a free app that gives youth soccer teams professional-style coverage of their games - with live streaming, highlights, lineups, and more.

To get started, make sure your Coach, Manager, or Team Admin has downloaded the GotSport Live app and is ready to broadcast your games and post team content, or has assigned a Team Reporter to do this for them.

If you are a Coach, Manager, or Team Admin, follow the guide below on how to get started.

How to Get Started as a Coach or Team Admin

Step 1: Download the App

To get started simply download the GotSport Live App and log in with your GotSport account credentials.

Google Play (Android).

Step 2: Access your Teams

Once logged in click on “Following” to access your team(s) – your team(s) will automatically appear if your role is connected in GotSport.

NOTE*** If you don’t see your team, contact your club administrator to confirm your role is set correctly.

Step 3 (Optional): Invite a Team Reporter

By default, only the Coach or Team Admin can livestream or post unless you’ve appointed a Team Reporter. 
A team reporter can be an active parent, volunteer or anyone who you want to grant authority to post rosters, lineups and stream live.
This allows coaches and admins to focus on the game, whilst the reporter manages the content.

Step 4: Invite your Players

Now it’s time to bring your team onboard to access their highlights, invite their families and elevate their match experience!
To invite players, click on your team and go to your “Squad”. Then simply start inviting your team members via the “Invite” button.

Step 5: Create team content and Go Live!

Now you’re ready to create your lineups, post articles and stream and share your games live!

Pro Tips:

After starting a stream, share your team’s Live Link with parents, families, and fans so they can tune in. Streams are FREE and automatically available to all GotSport Live users.
Make sure your device is fully charged and you have a strong Wi-Fi or cellular connection before going live for any video!
