As an Event Director - How to Activate USSCI Insurance for Events
Overview:
When setting up an event, Event Directors have the option to allow teams to opt into event registration insurance. Insurance is handled outside of the GotSport system with USSCI (US Sport Club Insurance). This article will guide an event director to turn on the insurance option. Note: If turned on, you will not be able to remove the option after teams have registered and opted into the Registration Insurance.
Instructions:
Step 1:
- From your dashboard, select Scheduling and Events in the dropdown menu.
Step 2:
- Select your specific event.
Step 3:
- Select the insurance option that Teams have the option to choose, then click Save.
Note: Please have coaches and managers follow this article to opt into the Insurance option after registration.
