GotSport Live - How to Add a UserID/Email to a Player Account for access

GotSport Live requires a unique UserID to validate existing profiles and access its main features and functionality. Previously, players younger than 18 were not required to have a UserID, as the parent(s) have separate accounts that manage the player account. If a player wants to access GotSport Live using their existing GotSport profile to follow clubs and teams, they will need to have a unique UserID added to their GotSport account. This article will demonstrate how this can be done by a Club Admin, Manager/Coach of a team, or the parent/guardian of the player.

Instructions:

As a Parent:

Step 1:

  • Sign in to your GotSport Account, click on the Family Tab

Step 2:

  • Click on the child that you want to add the UserID to.
  • You can see that one of the accounts does not have a UserID

Step 3:

  • After clicking on the Player account, you can now input a UserID unique to the GotSport system.
  • Once added, click Save at the bottom.

 

As a Manager/Coach

Step 1:

  • Sign in to your GotSport account and click Team Management

Step 2:

  • A new window will appear. Click on the name of the team that the player is on

Step 3:

  • Click on the name of the player to whom you want to add a UserID for
  • Input the unique email address in the UserID/Email section
  • Scroll to the bottom and click Save.

As Club Admin

Step 1:

  • From your Admin view, click Club Management > Players, or the Player tab within the Dashboard

Step 2:

  • Click on the name of the player you want to add the UserID to
  • Add the unique email into the userID/email section
