# GotSport Rankings - League Hot Streaks and Bonus Points
## From August 2026, your team can be awarded bonus points for league play.
**League Play Bonus Points (Hot Streaks)**
Designed to recognize and reward league form, bonus points will now be awarded to teams for consecutive league games’ results. The new bonus points will apply to leagues scheduled to start playing after August 1st 2026
**Scoring Streak (SS)**
A team scores in consecutive league games
- Scored in 3 Consecutive league games 10 Points
- Scored in 5 Consecutive league games20 Points
- Scored in 7 Consecutive league games 30 Points
- Scored in 10 Consecutive league games 40 Points
**Unbeaten Streak (US)**
A team remains unbeaten in consecutive league games
- Unbeaten in 3 Consecutive league games 20 Points
- Unbeaten in 5 Consecutive league games30 Points
- Unbeaten in 7 Consecutive league games 40 Points
- Unbeaten in 10 Consecutive league games 50 Points
**Winning Streak (WS)**
A team wins consecutive league games
- Won 3 Consecutive league games 30 Points
- Won 5 Consecutive league games 50 Points
- Won 7 Consecutive league games 70 Points
- Won 10 Consecutive league games 100 Points
**Shut-Out Streak (SO)**
A team does not concede any goals in consecutive league games
- No goals allowed in 2 Consecutive league games 10 Points
- No goals allowed in 3 Consecutive league games 20 Points
- No goals allowed in 4 Consecutive league games 20 Points
- No goals allowed in 5 Consecutive league games 20 Points
- No goals allowed in 6 Consecutive league games 20 Points
- No goals allowed in 7 Consecutive league games 20 Points
These bonus points are available in all leagues hosted with GotSport, however only play from a single league event can be eligible for points. Consecutive results from play in 2 different leagues will not count toward a streak bonus points
Bonus points for consecutive match results in league play will be awarded in date order, based on the league schedule. Should a league game not be reported, this could mean a delay in the bonus points being awarded - until the league organizers report or re-schedule the missing game to a new date.
These bonus points will last for 1 year from the date of the last applicable game.
**Hot Streak Badges**
Each of the hot streak bonus points will be linked to a respective badge. The badges will “light up” on each team rankings webpage when they reach a streak award, change when a higher streak is achieved, and “fade out” again when the streak is cancelled or expired.
Whilst all bonus points last for 12 months, badges will come and go on a team’s ranking page during the season. These badges should appear when a league is added to rankings and bonus points are awarded, as more league games are reported, the badge will either
- **Fade out**– Newly reported game results now cancel out that achievement badge
- **Remain** – Newly reported game results do not cancel the achievement badge, but no new achievements have been awarded
- **Upgrade** – Newly reported game results upgrade the previously awarded achievement badge to a higher level
- **Expire** – Once the applicable league competition end date has passed – badges should disappear from a team page on JANUARY 31st and JULY 31st every year.
