It's important to know your Chat Permissions based on your role:
- Parents can message their child's coaches and managers — but not other parents or players, and they can't create group chats.
- Coaches and managers can message anyone on their team — parents, players, and staff — and can create custom group chats.
- Club admins can message across the entire club, and have an exclusive tool for building club-wide group chats by role, gender, and age group.
Starting a Chat
No matter your role, you will be able to start a Chat. The available recipients is based on your role.
Step 1:

To start a new chat, click the New Chat icon at the bottom right corner

Depending on your role(s), you will see your different contact lists
Club Admin Manager/Parent Parent of a Player

- As a parent, you can tap the Chat Bubble icon to be taken directly to the Full Team Chat. If you tap the > icon, you'll be able to start a 1 to 1 chat with your Manager/Coach.
- If you are a Manager, Coach, or Admin, you can tap the > icon to build custom Group Chats
The screen recording below demonstrates a user with a Manager role and a parent of a player on a different team. The video will illustrate the ability to create a Group Chat as a Manager, but that functionality is not available if you're only a parent.
