# GotSport Live - Edit Team Name
## This article will provide teams with a way to edit their display team name within GotSpot Live. If you want to change the official team name, you will need to do so within the GotSport platform. If you are not a Club Admin, you will need to work with them to get this accomplished.
🎥
**Instructions**
The team name is imported from the GotSport system. If you wish to enter a different display name or alias, you can do so from within the "**Team** **Info**" tab on the team's admin page. You will need to be a team admin to edit the display name. If you do not have this ability, please reach out to your club admin.
*TIP: Use a name that your team members and followers will recognize easily, e.g. 8U Boys, 10U Girls, U19 Female, etc.*
**Step 1:**
- If you follow the team or have a role in the team, you may navigate to the team's page on GotSport Live via **Following** in the main menu. Otherwise, click on the **Team** tab on the club's page (can be searched for under Discover).
**Step 2:**
- At the team page, click the Admins tab at the top right (from the Start tab when using a smartphone)
**Step 3:**
- At the team admin page, click the Team info tab to edit the team name
