Assignors - How to Publish/Un-publish Referee Assignments

Overview: This article will instruct the Referee Assignor or Assigning Organization on how to hide assignments from being displayed on referee accounts.

 

The Assignor will have two options to Publish or Un-Publish their Matches, either through the Match Chart or the Match List. Assignments must be published to send match assignment notifications and to display on the referee user account.

 

Match Chart Publish and Un-Publish for Individual Matches

Step 1:

  • From your Referees - Assigning tab, click on the event where you would like to publish or un-publish matches.

Step 2:

  • Click on the match that you'd like to Publish or Un-Publish

Step 3:

  • Click either "On" or "Off" on the "Published" capability

Step 4:

  • The match will update to Published, which will allow the referee to view the match on their account and allow the assignor to send the notification, or Un-Published, which will grey out the "Notify Assignments" button.

 

Match List Publish and Un-Publish for Individual Matches or Matches in Bulk

Step 1: From your Referees - Assigning tab, click on the event where you would like to publish or un-publish matches.

 

Step 2: Once you've been redirected to the Match Chart, click on the "Match List" tab. 

Locate the "Matches" section 

Step 3: Click on the box(es) located next to each match, or click on the box next to the "Game Number" heading to display the bulk actions, which will include the "Publish" and "Un-Publish" options.

Step 4: Clicking the Un-publish option will refresh the page, flashing a green banner across the page, and will update the "Published" column to display a red "x".

Clicking the publish option will refresh the page, flashing a green banner across the page, and will update the "Published" column to display a green checkmark.

Note: Publishing a match will display the match on the assigned referee's account "Assigned Matches", while un-publishing the match will remove it from being displayed on the referee's account "Assigned Matches" section.
