As an Admin - How to Enable Player Registration Insurance

GotSport is now offering Player Registration Protection through ViCoverage.This means that Clubs can now offer Player Registration Protection to families during registration. This optional coverage allows parents to insure their child’s registration fees — so if a player is injured or can’t participate for a covered reason, they can be reimbursed up to 100%.

Instructions:

Step 1:

  • From your Admin Dashboard, click Programs > Programs List

Step 2:

  • Next, click onto the name of your Program you want to add the insurance to.
  • You can also click New Program if you need to create a brand new one. Click HERE for a guide on creating new Programs

Step 3:

  • Configure your settings as preferred
  • You'll see a setting for "Registration Fee Protection".
  • Once you click onto the dropdown menu, you'll have two options for "Offer Fee Protection (Recommended)" or "Reject Fee Protection" 

Step 4:

  • Complete your Program setup and click Save
  • If you've enabled the Registration Insurance, the user completing the checkout process will have the option to purchase the insurance after submitting payment to the club for the registration.
